This is what happened to the last guy who decided to mess with me in the hallway of our building.

To all those who get angry everytime they visit this blog only to find it has not changed, I offer my most sincere apologies.
I will try and think of something interesting to post soon - I promise*. Next Monday I am doing a presentation training course so hopefully I will have many tales to tell (which, due to the course, will be presented with charisma and energy - in other words the female version of this guy).

A loss of Mojo

On return of my holiday I have been pondering the question of 'what do you do when you lose your design mojo?' This condition can also be referred to as 'holiday lag' and more commonly as 'I really can't be f#*ed working anymore'. I would be happy for anyone to submit ways in which we can jolt ourselves back into the land of design after a week sleeping in til lunch time. (Nothing too sick or pornographic should be submitted as this is a family friendly site - and yes I am referring to you adam, from 'I love image libraries' comment 5)

I Love Image Libraries

There is nothing more tedious than sitting at my computer search through image libraries for the 100th time for the perfect royalty free image. There is only one thing that saves me from tipping over the edge of maddness and that is finding gems like these. I have a little giggle to myself, think 'Life's actually not that bad' and keep on searching.

A Ban on Certificates

Design work for certificates will not be undertaken by YellaCorp.
I just do not think that we would be able to deliver on a clients expectations of 'tacky'. There is a whole industry out there dedicated to producing emotional and thought provoking ceretificates (see attached gems) - let them have their glory - its all they have.

When will people learn that a strapline is never a good idea. Note the strapline on exhibit A - 'Tomorrow's Dentistry Today'. It nearly makes me want to cry. Why do people insist on making themselves look like idiots. When will they learn.

This is me - the director of YellaCorp. I like to yell at people a lot, hence the name for YellaCorp for my design agency. I don't like stupid people and hate stupid briefs even more, hence our motto, 'We don't do shit' (although this may come across as we do nothing - which is also ok).
